The Australian aborigines do indeed appreciate the Pope's apology for the injustice done to them by the missionaries, but they are not satisfied with this: They are demanding compensation for damages.

In a written statement, the Pope expressed his regrets that hundreds of thousands of children were taken away from their parents and brought up in white families or church facilities. But it didn't stop at that. Among other things, it also came to sexual abuse.

The aborigines are right. We will see how believable the Pope's apologies are.
